EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 217,866 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated December 13, the NCDC reports 385 new cases with 2 COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 12 states – FCT-116, Delta-115, Akwa Ibom-41, Ogun-33, Cross River-23, Edo-23, Kaduna-10, Rivers-7, Plateau-5, Bayelsa-5, Oyo-5 and Kano-2.
According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Bauchi, Ekiti and Sokoto States.
It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 210,076 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,983.
