[COVID-19] NCDC Confirms 612 New Cases
- Total cases confirmed – 217,063
- Total cases discharged – 207,703
- Total deaths recorded – 2,981
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 217,063 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated December 11, the NCDC reports 612 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 8 states – Lagos-483, FCT-49, Rivers-38, Oyo-31, Delta-5, Ekiti-4, Bauchi-1 and Jigawa-1.
According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Plateau, Ondo, Ogun, Osun and Sokoto States.
It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 207,703 cases have been discharged while the death toll stands at 2,981.
