[COVID-19] NCDC Announces 100 New Cases

  • Total cases confirmed – 253,505
  • Total cases discharged – 229,893
  • Total deaths recorded – 3,136

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 253,505 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated February 3, the NCDC reports 100 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 15 states – Lagos-22, Yobe-18, FCT-15, Ogun-7, Osun-7, Oyo-6, Sokoto-6, Imo-5, Kwara-4, Bauchi-3, Edo-3, Delta-1, Jigawa-1, Kano-1 and Nasarawa-1.

According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Ekiti, Ondo and Rivers States.

It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 229,893 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 3,136.
