COVID-19: NCDC Announces 146 New Cases

  • Total cases confirmed – 168,256
  • Total cases discharged – 164,415
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,122

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 168,256 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated July 8, the NCDC reports 146 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 7 states – Lagos-110, Enugu-18, Oyo-7, Rivers-5, Gombe-3, FCT-2 and Kaduna-1.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were reported from Plateau, Nasarawa, Ekiti, Imo, Kano and Sokoto States.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 164,415 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,122.
