[COVID-19] NCDC Announces 250 New Cases, Seven Deaths

  • Total cases confirmed – 252,678
  • Total cases discharged – 227,491
  • Total deaths recorded – 3,133

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 252,678 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated January 25, the NCDC reports 250 new cases with 7 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in 13 states – Lagos-122, Gombe-44, FCT-20, Kaduna-19, Borno-16, Delta-7, Ondo-7, Rivers-6, Jigawa-3, Oyo-3, Bauchi-1, Kano-1 and Ogun-1.

According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Ekiti, Nasarawa, Osun, Plateau, Sokoto and Zamfara States.

It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 227,491 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 3,133.
