The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 190,333 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated August 27, the NCDC reports 618 new cases with 10 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 14 states – Lagos-312, Akwa Ibom-89, Edo-71, Rivers-47, Ekiti-20, Plateau-20, Delta-15, Kwara-13, FCT-11, Osun-8, Oyo-4, Ogun-3, Benue-3, Gombe-1 and Kaduna-1.
According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Abia, Nasarawa, Ondo, Sokoto and Zamfara.
EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 169,815 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,308.
