[COVID-19] NCDC Announces 78 New Cases, Two More Deaths

  • Total cases confirmed – 207,694
  • Total cases discharged – 195,274
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,747

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 207,694 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated October 10, the NCDC reports 78 new cases with 2 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 8 states – Lagos-22, Kaduna-12, FCT-10, Benue-9, Imo-8, Akwa Ibom-4, Delta-4, Kano-4, Jigawa-3, Plateau-1 and Rivers -1.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Bauchi, Nasarawa and Sokoto States.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 195,274 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,747.
