COVID-19: NCDC Announces 8 New Cases

  • Total cases confirmed – 167,103
  • Total cases discharged – 163,528
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,117

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 167,103 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated June 16, the NCDC reports 8 new cases with no COVID-related fatalities.

The new infections were recorded in 3 states – Rivers-4, FCT-3 and Kwara-1.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 163,528 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,117.

According to the NCDC, no cases were reported in Imo, Kano, Kaduna, Nasarawa and Sokoto states.
