COVID-19: NCDC Confirms 11 Deaths, 187 New Infections
- Total cases confirmed – 161,261
- Total cases discharged – 146,395
- Total deaths recorded – 2,027
The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 161,261 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated March 17, the NCDC reports 187 new infections with 11 deaths resulting from COVID-19 complications.

The new infections were recorded in 18 states — Lagos-42, Taraba-29, Edo-17, Abia-13, Rivers-11, Kaduna-10, Katsina-9, Oyo-9, Kwara-7, Plateau-7, Ondo-5, Bayelsa-4, Cross River-4, Ogun-4, Osun-4, Akwa Ibom-3, Borno-3 and Nasarawa-3.
