COVID-19: NCDC Confirms 123 New Cases

• Total cases confirmed – 169,329
• Total cases discharged – 164,672
• Total deaths recorded – 2,126

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 169,329 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated July 16, the NCDC reports 123 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 8 states – Lagos-70, Akwa Ibom-18, Ogun-10, Oyo-8, Rivers-8, Ekiti-4, FCT-4 and Bayelsa-1.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were reported from Ekiti, Kano, Ondo and Sokoto.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 164,672 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,126.
