EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 236,014 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated December 25, the NCDC reports 1,305 new cases with 23 COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 14 states – Lagos-705, Oyo-234, Ondo-88, Kaduna-79, Rivers-78, Ogun-30, Anambra-25, Kano-24, Enugu-12, Ekiti-11, Jigawa-6, Osun-6, Plateau-6 and Zamfara-1.
According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Bauchi and Sokoto States.
It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 212,357 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 3,014.
