The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 206,064 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated October 2, the NCDC reports 138 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 6 states – FCT-51, Anambra-28, Lagos-24, Benue-18, Plateau-9, Kaduna-7 and Jigawa-1.
According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Bauchi, Delta, Gombe, Kano, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo and Rivers States.
