COVID-19: NCDC Confirms 143 New Cases, Total Hits 65,982

The latest COVID-19 case update provided by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has revealed that Nigeria now has 65,982 confirmed cases.
According to the NCDC, 143 new confirmed cases were recorded in Nigeria on Friday, having carried out a total daily test of 3,334 samples across the country.

The 143 new cases were reported from 10 states- Lagos (70), Kaduna (25), FCT (22), Ogun (11), Plateau (4), Oyo (4), Ekiti (3), Osun (2), Edo (1), Kano (1).
Out of the 65,982 cases that have been confirmed, 61,782 cases have been discharged and 1,165 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
A total of 728,128 tests have been carried out as of November 20th, 2020.
