COVID-19: NCDC Confirms 154 New Infections, One Fatality

  • Total cases confirmed – 168,867
  • Total cases discharged – 164,623
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,125

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 168,867 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated July 13, the NCDC reports 154 new cases with one COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 9 states – Lagos-119, Akwa Ibom-11, Rivers-6, Oyo-5, Ekiti-4, Ogun-4, FCT-2, Gombe-2 and Kwara-1.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were reported from Imo, Kano, Plateau, Oyo and Sokoto States.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 164,623 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,125.
