EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 210,295 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated October 22, the NCDC reports 176 new cases with 5 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in 13 states – Kaduna (47), Enugu (44), Benue (36), Delta (10), Lagos (7), Plateau (5), Rivers (3), Nasarawa (2), Bauchi (1), Bayelsa (1), Edo (1), Jigawa (1) and Kano (1).
According to the NCDC, 0 case was recorded in Jigawa State.
It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 198,191 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,856.
