[COVID-19] NCDC Confirms 167 New Infections, Two Fatalities

Total cases confirmed – 208,797
Total cases discharged – 196,425
Total deaths recorded – 2,769

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 208,797 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated October 15, the NCDC reports 167 new cases with 2 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 9 states – Rivers (68), FCT (43), Lagos (24), Plateau (10), Niger (8), Edo (5), Kano (4), Benue (2), Oyo (2) and Delta (1).

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Benue, Gombe, Ogun, Osun, Ondo and Sokoto States.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 196,425 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,769.
