The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 208,797 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated October 15, the NCDC reports 167 new cases with 2 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 9 states – Rivers (68), FCT (43), Lagos (24), Plateau (10), Niger (8), Edo (5), Kano (4), Benue (2), Oyo (2) and Delta (1).
According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Benue, Gombe, Ogun, Osun, Ondo and Sokoto States.
