COVID-19: NCDC Confirms 17 New Infections As Active Cases Plunge To 5,638

  • Total cases confirmed – 166,534
  • Total cases discharged – 159,935
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,099

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 166,534 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated June 1, the NCDC reports 17 new cases with no COVID-19 related death.

The new infections were recorded in 5 states – Lagos-8, Rivers-5, Kano-2, Kaduna-1 and Plateau-1
