COVID-19: NCDC Confirms 203 New Cases, One Death

  • Total cases confirmed – 169,532
  • Total cases discharged – 164,699
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,127

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 169,532 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated July 18, the NCDC reports 203 new cases with one COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 8 states – Lagos-186, Edo-4, Oyo-4, Rivers-4, FCT-3 and Kwara-2.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were reported from Ekiti, Kano, Ondo, Ogun, Imo, Plateau and Sokoto States.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 164,699 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,127.
