EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 254,243 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated February 19, the NCDC reports 22 new cases with 1 COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 6 States – Lagos (13), Osun (4), 6Kaduna (2), Ekiti (1), FCT (1) and Oyo (1).
According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Abia, Bauchi, Gombe, Kano, Nasarawa, Ogun, Ondo, Plateau, Rivers and Sokoto states.

It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 230,530 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 3,142.
