EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 253,023 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated January 30, the NCDC reports 22 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 5 states – Osun-9, FCT-6, Delta-4, Rivers-2 and Kano-1.
According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Bauchi, Bayelsa, Ekiti, Kaduna, Ogun, Ondo, Oyo, Plateau and Sokoto States.

It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 229,019 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 3,135.
