COVID-19: NCDC Confirms 272 New Cases, One Death

• Total cases confirmed – 170,895
• Total cases discharged – 164,788
• Total deaths recorded – 2,132

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 170,895 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated July 24, the NCDC reports 272 new cases with one COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 9 states – Lagos-182, Rivers-34, Ondo-24, Oyo-10, Abia-7, Ogun-7, Ekiti-5, Delta-2 and Plateau-1.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Kaduna, Kano and Sokoto States.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 164,788 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,132.
