COVID-19: NCDC Confirms 28 New Cases, No Fatality

  • Total cases confirmed – 165,301?
  • Total cases discharged – 155,424
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,065

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 165,301 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated May 5, the NCDC reports 28 new cases with no COVID-related fatality.

The new infections were recorded in 6 states — Lagos-10, Rivers-7, Akwa Ibom-6 Delta-2, FCT-2 and Kaduna-1.

Eko Hot Blog gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 155,424 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,065.
