[COVID-19] NCDC Confirms 290 New Cases, Two Fatalities

Total cases confirmed – 207,210
Total cases discharged – 194,796
Total deaths recorded – 2,742

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 207,210 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated October 8, the NCDC reports 290 new cases with 2 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 14 states – FCT (127), Lagos (45), Kaduna (28), Delta (18), Kwara (17), Plateau (13), Zamfara (10), Rivers (8), Imo (21), Ekiti (5), Nasarawa (4), Edo (3), Ondo (3), Akwa Ibom (2) and Oyo (1).

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Ondo, Osun, Oyo and Sokoto States.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 194,796 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,742.
