COVID-19: NCDC Confirms 317 New Cases, One Death

  • Total cases confirmed – 170,623
  • Total cases discharged – 164,780
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,131

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 170,623 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated July 23, the NCDC reports 317 new cases with one COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 8 states – Lagos-172, Akwa Ibom-62, Oyo-33, Rivers-32, Ekiti-5, FCT-5, Ogun-3, Sokoto-2, Bayelsa-1, Gombe-1 and Kano-1.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Imo, Kaduna, Nasarawa and Plateau States.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 164,780 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,131.
