The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 170,623 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated July 23, the NCDC reports 317 new cases with one COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 8 states – Lagos-172, Akwa Ibom-62, Oyo-33, Rivers-32, Ekiti-5, FCT-5, Ogun-3, Sokoto-2, Bayelsa-1, Gombe-1 and Kano-1.
According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Imo, Kaduna, Nasarawa and Plateau States.
