[COVID-19] NCDC Confirms 336 New Cases, 5 Deaths

Total cases confirmed – 201,630
Total cases discharged – 190,288
Total deaths recorded – 2,654

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 201,630 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated September 18, the NCDC reports 336 new cases with 5 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 16 states – Lagos-86, Benue-48, Rivers-46, Bauchi-41, Edo-25, FCT-19, Akwa Ibom-13, Ondo-12, Anambra-11, Ekiti-8, Kwara-7, Plateau-7, Bayelsa-4, Kaduna-4, Delta-2, Ogun-2 and Kaduna-1.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Imo, Osun, Oyo and Sokoto States.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 190,288 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,654.
