[COVID-19] NCDC Confirms 35 New Cases

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 255,972 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated May 21 – 23, the NCDC reports 35 new cases with no COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in 7 states – Lagos (22), FCT (4), Rivers (3), Ekiti (2), Kano (2), Cross River (1) and Kaduna (1).

According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Abia, Delta, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau and Sokoto States.

It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 250,024 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 3,143.
