[COVID-19] NCDC Confirms 36 New Cases

 

  • Total cases confirmed – 255,895
  • Total cases discharged – 249,961
  • Total deaths recorded – 3,143

EDITOR’S PICK

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 255,895 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated May 14 – 16, the NCDC reports 36 new cases with no COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in 7 states – Kano (14), Lagos (6), Oyo (6), Rivers (5), Imo (3), Kaduna (1) and Sokoto (1).

According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Delta, Ekiti, FCT, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Plateau States.

It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 249,961 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 3,143.
