COVID-19: NCDC Confirms 43 New Cases, No Deaths

  • Total cases confirmed – 165,852
  • Total cases discharged – 156,456
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,067

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 165,852 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated May 19, the NCDC reports 43 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new infections were recorded in 6 states – Lagos-19, Rivers-14, Kastina-5, Jigawa-3, Kano-1 and Oyo-1.

Eko Hot Blog gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 156,456 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,067.
