[COVID-19] NCDC Confirms 45 New Cases

  • Total cases confirmed – 254,182
  • Total cases discharged – 230,530
  • Total deaths recorded – 3,141

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 254,182 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated February 17, the NCDC reports 45 new cases with no COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in 8 States – Lagos (18), Cross River (7), FCT (7), Oyo (5), Kano (3), Nasarawa (3), Ekiti (1) and Rivers (1).

According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Abia, Bauchi, Imo, Kaduna, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Plateau and Sokoto States.

It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 230,530 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 3,141.
