The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 175,264 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated August 3, the NCDC reports 505 new cases with 3 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in 14 states – Lagos-273, Rivers-83, Oyo-45, Ondo-22, Cross River-18, Kaduna-13, Ogun-10, Gombe-10, FCT-8, Ekiti-7, Delta-6, Bayelsa-3, Edo-2 and Niger-1.
According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Plateau, Sokoto, Nasarawa and Osun.
