COVID-19: NCDC Confirms 52 New Cases, Two Deaths

  • Total cases confirmed – 165,273
  • Total cases discharged – 155,403
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,065

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 165,273 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated May 5, the NCDC reports 52 new cases with two COVID-related deaths.

The new infections were recorded in 7 states — Taraba-18, FCT-9 Rivers-9, Lagos-7, Akwa Ibom-6, Kano-2 and Kaduna-1.

Eko Hot Blog gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 155,371 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,065.
