[COVID-19] NCDC Confirms 541 New Cases, No Death

• Total cases confirmed – 182,503
• Total cases discharged – 167,132
• Total deaths recorded – 2,219

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 182,503 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated August 15, the NCDC reports 541 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 13 states – Lagos-242, Akwa Ibom-94, Enugu-48, Oyo-48, Anambra-34, Rivers-19, Ogun-17, Ekiti-15, FCT-9, Kwara-7, Abia-5, Delta-2 and Niger-1.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Gombe, Nasarawa, Ondo, Osun, Plateau and Sokoto States
