[COVID-19] NCDC Confirms 601 New Cases, 7 More Deaths

• Total cases confirmed – 200,957
• Total cases discharged – 189,346
• Total deaths recorded – 2,647

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 200,957 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated September 16, the NCDC reports 601 new cases with 7 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 16 states – Lagos-173, Edo-97, FCT-68, Rivers-50, Delta-45, Kaduna-28, Ondo-28, Akwa Ibom-25, Bayelsa-16, Imo-16, Plateau-15, Anambra-12, Ekiti-11, Cross River-6, Oyo-6, Gombe-3 and Benue-2.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Nasarawa and Sokoto States.
