COVID-19: NCDC Confirms 7 New Cases, No Death

  • Total cases confirmed – 165,709
  • Total cases discharged – 156,413
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,066

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 165,709 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated May 16, the NCDC reports 7 new infected persons with no COVID-related fatality.

The new infections were recorded in 2 states – Niger-5 and Rivers-2.

Eko Hot Blog gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 156,413 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,066.
