The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 164,993 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated April 28, the NCDC reports 81 new cases with one COVID-related fatality.

The new infections were recorded in 11 states — Lagos-26, Enugu-13, Ogun-8, Rivers-6, Kano-6, Kaduna-5, Plateau-3, Akwa Ibom-4, Delta-3, FCT-3 and Edo-2.
