COVID-19: NCDC Confirms 829 New Cases, One Death

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria now has a total of 83,576 cases of COVID-19.

In its latest case update dated December 26, the NCDC reports 829 new infections and one COVID-19-related death.

The new infections were recorded in 15 states — Lagos (296), FCT (291), Kaduna (79), Rivers (40), Kano (35), Nasarawa (25), Bauchi (19), Benue (8), Borno (7), Edo (7), Oyo (7), Sokoto (7), Cross River (3) and Ogun (2).

As gathered by Eko Hot Blog, out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 70,495 cases have been discharged while the death toll stands at 1,247.
