COVID-19: NCDC Confirms Eight Fatalities, 590 New Infections
- Total cases confirmed – 173,411
- Total cases discharged – 164,978
- Total deaths recorded – 2,149
The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 173,411 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated July 30, the NCDC reports 590 new cases with eight COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in 18 states – Lagos-308, Akwa Ibom-54, Katsina-40, Oyo-39, Rivers-26, Niger-23, Gombe-19, Ogun-16, Ekiti-15, FCT-10, Nasarawa-10, Delta-9, Bayelsa-5, Plateau-5, Imo-4, Ebonyi-3, Jigawa-3 and Kano-1.
According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Ondo and Osun States.
EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 164,978 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,141.
