COVID-19: NCDC Confirms One New Death, 156 Fresh Cases

  • Total cases confirmed – 164,912
  • Total cases discharged – 155,012
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,063

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 164,912 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated April 27, the NCDC reports 156 new cases with one COVID-related fatality.

The new infections were recorded in 11 states — Lagos-50, Enugu-43, Adamawa-40, FCT-8, Ogun-5, Akwa Ibom-3, Plateau-3, Jigawa-1, Kaduna-1, Oyo-1 and Rivers-1.
