EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 209,713 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated October 20, the NCDC reports 167 new cases with 2 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in 9 states – Taraba-109, Lagos-17, Plateau-16, Bauchi-11, Rivers-6, Delta-3, Akwa Ibom-2, Imo-2 and Bayelsa-1.
According to the NCDC, 0 cases was recorded in Sokoto State.
It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 197,724 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,840.
