EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 215,164 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated December 8, the NCDC reports 268 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 10 States – Lagos (225), Rivers (17), Enugu (10), Edo (5), Bauchi (3), Ogun (3), Oyo (2), Kaduna (1), Bayelsa (1), Delta (1).
According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Ondo, Osun and Sokoto States.
It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 207,520 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,980.
