Covid-19: NCDC Gets 4 Additional Labs

Nigeria center for disease control NCDC has announced the inclusion of four new Covid-19 Molecular Laboratories in Ekiti, Kano,  and FCT.

According to the NCDC, the 4 labs are 54 Gene, located in Ekiti state and Abuja, E-Health Africa, and international Foundation Against Infectious Diseases in Nigeria (IFAN) laboratories are both located in Kano State.

The NCDC noted that 54 Gene lab in Abuja will be used to test returnees.

This brings the total number of COVID 19 test laboratories in Nigeria to 38 inclusive of (IFAIN) lab, while an additional 2 are in progress in Gombe and Ondo State.
