EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 241,513 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated December 30, the NCDC reports 1,355 new cases with 1 COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 19 states – Rivers (420), Lagos (324), Oyo (81), Gombe (47), Akwa Ibom (41), Kaduna (36), Niger (36), Ondo (35), FCT (29), Delta (18), Edo (15), Ogun (14), Kano (12), Cross River (9), Ekiti (8), Kebbi (8), Nasarawa (4), Enugu (1), and Jigawa (1).
It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 214,003 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 3,030.
