[COVID-19] Three Die As NCDC Records 145 New Cases

  • Total cases confirmed – 253,685
  • Total cases discharged – 230,126
  • Total deaths recorded – 3,139

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 253,685 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated February 5, the NCDC reports 145 new cases with 3 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in 10 states – Imo-65, Lagos-36, Ondo-20, Kano-6, Osun-6, Rivers-6, FCT-3, Delta-1, Kaduna-1 and Ogun-1.

According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Abia, Ekiti, Oyo and Sokoto States.

It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 230,126 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 3,139.
