[COVID-19] NCDC Records 168 New Cases, One Death

Total cases confirmed – 201,798
Total cases discharged – 190,563
Total deaths recorded – 2,655

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 201,798 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated September 19, the NCDC reports 168 new cases with 1 COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 10 states – Lagos-75, Abia-26, Niger-20, FCT-15, Benue-8, Ogun-8, Osun-7, Edo-3, Kaduna-2, Kano-2 and Ondo-2.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Bauchi, Ekiti, Imo, Rivers, Oyo, Plateau and Sokoto States.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 190,563 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,655.
