COVID-19: NCDC Records 238 New Cases, Two Deaths

  • Total cases confirmed – 170,122
  • Total cases discharged – 164,741
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,130

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 170,122 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated July 21, the NCDC reports 238 new cases with two COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in 6 states – Lagos-181, Akwa Ibom-45, Oyo-8, Ogun-2, Ekiti-1 and FCT-1.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were reported from Osun, Ondo, Sokoto, Kano, Kaduna and Nasarawa States.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 170,122 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,130.
