[COVID-19] NCDC Records 35 Fresh Infections

• Total cases confirmed – 253,540
• Total cases discharged – 229,982
• Total deaths recorded – 3,136

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 253,540 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated February 4, the NCDC reports 100 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 6 states – Rivers-15, Katsina-8, FCT-6, Gombe-4, Ekiti-1 and Gombe-1.

According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Abia, Delta, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo and Sokoto States.

It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 229,982 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 3,136.
