[COVID-19] NCDC Records 36 New Cases, No Fatality

  • Total cases confirmed – 253,727
  • Total cases discharged – 230,045
  • Total deaths recorded – 3,139

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 253,727 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated February 6, the NCDC reports 36 new cases with no COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in 5 states – Lagos (23), FCT (5), Osun (4), Taraba (3) and Nasarawa (1).

According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Ekiti, Kaduna, Ondo, Ogun, Osun, Oyo, Plateau and Sokoto States.

It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 230,045 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 3,139.
