The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 167,732 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated July 2, the NCDC reports 40 new cases with one COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in 4 states – Lagos-36, Rivers-2, Gombe-1 and Kano-1.
EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 164,369 cases have been discharged while the death toll stands at 2,121.
According to the NCDC, 0 cases were reported in Ekiti, FCT, Imo, Kaduna, Nasarawa, Oyo, Plateau and Sokoto.
