The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 191,805 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated August 30, the NCDC reports 460 new cases with one COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 12 states – Rivers-164, Lagos-139, Edo-61, FCT-37, Bayelsa-20, Oyo-14, Plateau-7, Ogun-6, Anambra-4, Benue-4, Enugu-2, Cross River-1 and Kaduna-1.
According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Borno, Ekiti, Nasarawa, Osun, Ondo and Sokoto States.
